Most “AI journal” products feed your notes to a chatbot and return generic advice. TradeCraft's grader fetches the real 5-minute candles around your entry and exit — pre-market and after-hours included — and hands the actual chart to the AI alongside your notes, stop, and targets. It computes what professionals measure: maximum adverse excursion, maximum favorable excursion, and what happened after you sold.

Every graded trade gets two 1–10 scores: setup quality (was this a good trade to take?) and execution discipline (did you trade your plan?). A profitable trade can score a 3; a small, well-managed loss can score a 9. In testing, the grader caught a stop-loss that had silently drifted from $11.60 to $11.95 between plan and execution — the slip a human mentor charges $200 an hour to notice.

Four coaching levels, each a genuinely different rubric and voice: Beginner (patient, defines terms, one focus point), Intermediate (direct, 2–3 issues, asks about your plan), Advanced (peer review with market-microstructure awareness), and Pro (brutal honesty, no hand-holding). String together strong, accurately self-assessed trades and it offers a promotion. Hit a rough stretch and it offers to send you back to fundamentals — the way a real coach benches a struggling player.

Every tier includes 10 grades a day with no API key, resetting at midnight UTC — daily trade review becomes a ritual from day one. Better plans use a smarter coach: Basic grades on Haiku, Advanced on Sonnet, Premium on Opus with per-grade model choice. Add your own Anthropic key on any plan for unlimited grading — included grades always spend first, and never silently downgrade your coach.
